Alan Noble's Home PageMy bioI'm Engineering Director for Google Australia and New Zealand. I've lived and worked in Australia, Japan and the US for multinationals and startups alike. In 1996 I co-founded NetMind, which in 2000 was acquired by Puma Technology, later renamed Intellisync, and in turn acquired by Nokia. I left Pumatech in 2002, returned to Australia and joined Foursticks as CTO. In 2005 I founded NetPriva, which was acquired by Expand Networks in 2007. I also serve on the advisory boards of 4 Australian universities (Adelaide, NSW, Melbourne and Carnegie Melon), on the national board of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) and I'm a co-founder of SA Angels.
